Fourth Step: Delivering the gift basket

In creating an unforgettable moment, surprise can be one of the most important components!

However, please only have a small delegation (4 people at the most) deliver each basket. It is important not to overwhelm your recipients. Keep your visit brief. In the eyes of the recipients, you are the delivery people, the donors are anonymous.

Joy and fun are a big part of the basket brigade; safety is too. Whoever delivers the baskets needs to use their sensory acuity as they travel to unfamiliar areas. Cultural differences may exist. Be sensitive to the neighborhoods you enter, gentle in your presence, and safe in your journey. Be sure to assign some volunteers the task of creating maps in advance so the deliverers avoid the hassle of getting lost.
